Travel Notes: Caloundra

A few days ago we decided to go for a drive to the Sunshine Coast and spent the day in Caloundra. We couldn't miss the opportunity to visit White Picket Fence café for a coffee and a bite to eat. After lunch it was definitely time to relax, so we headed to the beach for some reading and to feel the salty breeze.

The White Picket Fence is a beautiful café in the town centre of Caloundra. Its facade has a white look and is accompanied by dotted umbrellas. On the side, pink arches complete the outside courtyard, an invite for a relaxed and cosy visit. The interiors feature a gallery of prints and paintings, La Marzocco pastel coffee machine, a green couch and a natural wall decoration.

Their menu includes plenty of healthy choices. Their colourful dishes are not only mouth watering but also absolutely delicious. Their latte art is definitely on point and is made using Cat's Pyjamas coffee.

After lunch it was time to check out the beach and enjoy the breeze. We stopped at Moffat Beach, lied down and took some time to simply listen to the the waves. The ocean was nice and calm, and after some reading we jumped into the water for a dip.
